Sofia Kourenti

Sofia joined Pitch as an Account Associate in September 2020.

Today, she works for clients in a variety of industries, supporting them throughout all the needed press office activities including the redaction and distribution of Press Releases, publicity monitoring, evaluation and reporting, media mapping and the interaction with journalists, as well as handling clients’ native media plans.

Sofia also contributes to the composition of communication and CSR proposals and conducts intelligence research and stakeholder mappings. Her duties also include the assistance in crisis communication cases.

She additionally participates in the organisation of press conferences and corporate events, being involved in all stages of planning and implementation.

Sofia handles a diverse portfolio of clients, indicatively including: DESFA, LeasePlan Hellas, The American College of Greece, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), British American Tobacco Hellas, the Institute of Energy for South-East Europe (IENE).

Prior to Pitch, Sofia has worked for V+O Communication and Asset Ogilvy, handling both Brand and Corporate PR accounts as well as being involved in Public Affairs projects. Since 2016, when she first started working as an Account Executive, she has worked for major clients in a number of industries including Tech, Defence, Aviation, FMCGs, Fintech, Infrastructure, Tourism and more performing tasks in a broad spectrum of areas, from Press Office and Event Management to Intelligence Reports and Crisis Communications.

Sofia has completed internships in Advocate Burson-Marsteller and the Permanent Delegation of Greece to UNESCO in Paris.

She holds a Master’s in Political and Social Communication from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and a BA in Communication, Media and Culture from Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences.

She is fluent in English and French and also speaks German.
